Fresh seasonal ingredients are the hallmark of English cooking: delicious spring lamb; soft fruits such as strawberries, raspberries and blackcurrants and freshly caught salmon in the summer; at the first autumn frost a plethora of fresh vegetables and game; and at Christmas, plump turkeys and delicious cakes and puddings. Delightful little book.
