Christians will love this book. It is an extremely well written book and the characters are fleshed out far beyond the stereotyped cutouts they could have been. The discussion of the miracles and answers to prayer in this book are juxtaposed in an understandable way with the persecutions experienced by the Chinese and also American Christians in this book. Chinese Christians humble me with their devotion in the face of terrible persecution. I think every serious Christian should read this book, pray for the persecuted church, enable themselves to defend the faith, and prepare themselves to be able to endure such hardship.
