Kaitlin (USA: VA) (2008/04/27): The 8th installment in the Left Behind series brings us even closer to the Glorious Appearing. Nicolae Carpathia is back from the dead and is filled with Satan. Now everyone is required to receive a mark either on their right hand or forehand symbolizing they are loyal followers of Carpathia. Once you receive this mark....you are doomed to hell forever. God cannot save you after that. This is the ultimate test of faith of all believers in Christ. How will they escape the wrath of Nicolae?? If they don't take the mark, they cannot trade or buy goods and will endure starvation among other problems. But if they take it, they will suffer forever. The Tribulation Force is back into action to get everyone into hiding and get the secret co-operation up and running. Will anyone give in to the mark? That is what you are about to find out. Excellent book!
