Eighteen distinguished contributors follow Whitehead in his unique attempt to integrate the often disparate concerns of science (including mathematics and mathematical logic), art, religion, social life and common sense. Originally published in 1963 by Prentice-Hall, this edition contains a new preface by the editor.
