Lately, Susan Wells has been tethered to the telephone, telling everyone about violins and violas, paints and portfolios, and the scripts of Eugene O'Neill and Tennessee Wiliams. her job as public relations director of the new Floridas Accademy of Arts couldn't be more hectic-or more thrilling. She loves promoting the artists, conductors, actors, ballet stars, and musicians who compose the academies teaching staff.
Susans career is finely orchestrated, but her social life is solo. It's solo, that is, until Kevin Jsmieson the famous cellist(and infamous playboy), joins the academies string quartet. Jamie is tallented, attentive, charming, and impossible to resist.
He's also difficult. He left the public stage seversl years ago under mysterious circumstances, and he's still reluctant to resume his position in the spotlight. As a professional, Susan wants Jamie back in the public eye, but as a girl friend, she only wants him to be happy. Can Susan ever bring her two rolls with Jamie into harmony?
