Wendy Bettencourt (USA: TX) (2009/02/01): Good book for new and intermediate students of Pilates. Illustrated, but I would recommend taking at least a couple of classes or perhaps viewing a DVD before attempting some of the more advanced moves.
Brooke Siler is well-known in the Pilates world, and I find her methods are effective. She offers several sequences for different parts of the body (all the while working the "core").
