It, however, had a diffrent idea and just pulled me in totally. I had a hard time putting it dowqn to sightsee!

Wasn't supposed to read this one. Had bought it that day at charity store. Added it to my inventory, only then did I look closer. It pulled me in from the first paragraph. Finished it in about 5 days, staying up late till 4am sometimes!
Loved it. Extremely well written. Felt like I was immediately familiar with the characters (of which there are plenty, but don't let that deter you) and barracking for the central characters straight away (and boo-hooing others). Cuts across several genres: fiction, historical (20th century) non-fiction, humour, romance, gothic, mystery. Mooch, Mooch away! You won't regret it. It will beat all the others on your To-Be-Read-Pile, & ask to be read first.

saw this book in the library as I was walking out and something just pulled me to it so I grabbed it without even reading the synopsis. Once I started it, I couldn't put it down. It was such an intense page-turner and now one of my favorite books. Would recommend this to anyone who likes thrillers.
