Reviews: Geoffrey Makstutis (United Kingdom) (2006/09/21):
It can take some time to find your way into this book, which shifts between present day and 13th century France. However, as the story progresses and the characters begin to 'fill out' you'll find yourself up all night waiting for the next twist. Some wonderful detail and excellent period research gives the story a very original feel.

Leece (United Kingdom) (2007/02/11):
A fantastic tale, reliving past lives. cathars and the holy grail, similar to the Da Vinci Code.

Darcie (USA: MA) (2009/07/13):
Fantastic book! I couldn't put it down! I liked it even more than Sepulchre!

spacegirl (Germany) (2011/01/27):
Personally I was disappointed to realize that this book has nothing to do with fantasy. I expected something more like Pan's Labyrinth or Neil Gaiman's Graveyard Book.

It becomes a little booring in the middle but I managed to read it all. The author really takes her time in developing the story. However, once you get to know the characters and their stories it becomes interesting.

I would recommend it to those who like to read crime or history. Also recommended to all those who like Dan Brown. Although it is not as exciting as his books.
