I almost feel bad listing this book, it is absolutely awful...one of the worst books I've ever read.

I enjoyed this book. It started slowly, in a very predictable made-for-tv sort of way and I very nearly gave up, but it's a slow burn and by the time the author gets into his stride it is actually pretty good. It's cheap horror fiction of its time, and I doubt it will become a classic, but I can definitely see it getting made as a film. In fact it would stand up very well compared to most horror flicks these days (it's better than Drag Me To Hell, and very much of the same style.) If you want a free book to take your mind off your commute for a few days and you have a sense of humour then this is definitely one to mooch!
