Great fun, a 'swashbuckling' feel throughout, though the action all takes place on land - in Devon. I was surprised to find interesting characterisation in what blurb quotes describe as a 'pacy' historical detective story. I was in half a mind to hold on to this to re-read one day... but no shelf space left in this house so it's on offer instead! ;0)
