Really scary--I know it happens to people, but it's just really hard to imagine how someone can bring it upon themselves in the first place. I loved the format it was written in, though! Each "chapter" (if that's what you could call it) was like a poem, except they all told a consecutive story. Very emotional. The ending wasn't as powerful as I hoped it would be, though, I thought it had more potential. However, this was autobiographical somewhat, so I suppose she couldn't just drastically change the ending or anything.

a very moving book. this book is about a teens struggle with "crank" or meth. it details how she becomes a different person. it goes into great detail about how she feels while high, but also how she feels as she is coming down. most importantly, it details what she goes through, what she loses, due to her addiction. the size of the may put you off, but it's not that long of a book, it's just the way the book is written. it looks as if it is written as a poem, in stanzas.

I got so into this book! I think this is a wonderful book and a wonderful author for younger people also. I wish I had read it when i was a young teen. Hopkins really pulls you into Kristina's life and you just really push for her to get right. Definitely recommended!

I really enjoyed this book. I did not care for the writing style (weird poem-like stanzas that changed with every chapter). However, I really enjoyed the story and I am anxiously wanting to read the sequal "Glass". Do not be afraid of this book due to the size, it is a quick read despite it's enormous size. I finished it in only 1 1/2 days.
