I have read this enjoyable book in just two sittings. I found it to be a nice book about India. About some of her peoples,(which always includes various spiritual sects)... of the days and ways along the Narmada river, where lush jungle flora & fauna creep in.
It was such a pleasent read that I will soon be looking to find more books by Gita Mehta. The nature of "Love and Life" are rather casually explored, this writers voice is centered, objective, and reasonable with the heart of a poet, perhaps~ she weaves a subtle tapesty of India for anyone who is interested in the heart and soul of this country.
