Amazon.com Review
Running is for runners; nonrunners generally hate it and especially resent the way runners tried to bully everyone into getting out and hoofing it during the '70s jogging boom. A million ruined knees later, running is what it should've been all along: a tremendous fitness activity for people who enjoy it and are biomechanically suited for it. This book tells runners everything they need to know about their sport: how to start, how to improve, how to get properly fueled, how to avoid injuries (when "don't run" is not an option), how to compete, and how to incorporate cross-training activities into workout schedules. It won't convert you to running if you don't have the body or inclination for it, but for runners, it's the real package.
