This is a great book all in all. I find myself agreeing with a lot of it but ultimately I am not convinced. His god is a kind of straw man. Any resemblance to the actual deity is sort of accidental. I personally think one of the most awesome and mysterious traits of the deity is its existence and non-existence at the same time. If you think of God as the ultimate arbitrator of human endeavors then his arguments are sensible. If you think that the concept of "god" is something harder to define then you will come away like me unconvinced that he (Dawkins) has delivered his premise.
