I actually like Geri Halliwell and was a big Spice Girls fan back in the day, which made me think I wouldn't like this. When I read autobiographies about people I like, I tend to come away thinking they are dicks. This was thankfully different :) I didn't know anything about Geri's life before the Spice girls and ended up enjoying reading that bit the most. I liked her determination and drive. How she never gave up even when she kept getting knocked back. The Spice Girls bits seemed to go really quick, was it really only two years they were together? It felt longer at the time. We paid to watch their concert on tv, I remember hopeing that Geri would make a surprise appearance but she never did. Shame it only goes up to the start of her solo career.
