Reviews: Kenjii H. (USA: CA) (2008/09/22):
Brian is an architect who helps Amy with her dog rescue. One night they rescue a very special dog name Nickie. The story involves other interesting characters like Moongirl and Harrow. While the several side characters were enjoyable and the story leading up to the finale was told well, not with this and that thrown in, I only found this Koontz novel mildly amusing.

BrendaV (USA: NC) (2008/11/18):
I loved this book. I couldn't put it down. I read it in two nights. I have two children that take up a lot of my time, but this book just seemed to draw me in and I had to keep reading to see what was going to happen next. One of the best Dean Koontz books I have ever read. Some parts are shocking, some parts are sad, some are disgusting, and that's what makes it such a great book.
