Reviews: Rachel Cousins (USA: AZ) (2006/12/29):
I recently read this as an adult, having forgotten most of it when it was assigned in grade school. It's just a good read. So don't avoid reading it because you've been told how _important_ it is. Read it because Anne Frank is someone you should meet, even in print.

Laura (USA: OH) (2007/06/09):
This is one of the best books Ive ever read. It not only makes you weep for Anne, her family and the family that lived with them..but for all of the people that had to go through that period. And it puts things in perspective..makes you realize all the things that we take for granted every day.

Cheyenne (USA: AL) (2008/06/25):
The book is a facinating story of a girl living a good life then it goes bad because of the Germans

jenna + geoff (USA: MO) (2010/04/12):
Saying it was the fault of the Germans is rather lofty and unfair. Not all Germans were Nazis. I don't mean to be to rude, but I feel like it is important to separate the two. I certainly would not want to be associated with the Nazis simply because I am German.
Reading this book you realize how wise beyond her years Anne Frank was. Even as she dealt with the things we all experienced as a adolescents. The only difference is that she had to do all of these things while cooped up in a tiny annex with seven other people. Anne Frank wanted to be remembered even after her death and I wish she could have lived to see what an impact her writing had on the world.
Fantastically emotional book. I suggest it to everyone.

jenna + geoff (USA: MO) (2010/04/12):
I would like to add, as the review above says, that reading this book made me feel as though I had truly lost a close friend.
