Description: Product Description
Roger Salisbury, a prominent surgeon, is accused of malpractice when a patient dies after surgery. Only after his acquittal does his lawyer, Jake Lassiter, find information suggesting that Salisbury was having an affair with the patient's wife. Lassiter needs all his skills to unravel the mystery.
Reviews: Jean L (USA: KS) (2010/12/10):
I enjoyed reading this book. This is the first in the Jake Lassiter series. He is a lawyer with many wisecracks so even though it is a murder mystery, there were times that I laughed out loud.
There are currently 7 books in this series with another one to come out in the fall of 2011.
