Three of these stories are among Stout's most enjoyable. Imagine these awkward situations for our genius when of course murders ensue:1. Nero attends a party as Santa to discover if Archie is serious about a marriage proposal. 2. Nero sends Archie to steal a unique orchid off the dress of a woman at the Easter parade while she's still wearing it! 3. Nero ventures out of the office to give a speech at a 4th of July picnic. He inconveniently discovers the body. Archie is put to the test to help Nero avoid embarrassment -- lovely. :)
