Bianka (USA: VA) (2011/05/20):
How did Betsy Ross like her work? Sew, sew.'' This is one of the 60 riddles in Adler's new book. The humor revolves around Colonial America, the Revolutionary War, and well-known persons of that time. Wallner's black-and-white illustrations add to the humor. Each page has one riddle, a large illustration, and the answer. While young children will enjoy the riddles, older children with some history background will enjoy them to the fullest. A lively supplement to units on the Revolutionary War and an enjoyable addition to most riddle collections. Elaine Lesh Morgan, Multnomah County Library, Portland, Oreg.
