Description: Product Description
New York Times bestselling author Nora Roberts presents the first novel in a stunning new trilogy of three men bound by the love of the extraordinary couple who took them in and raised them as brothers. Now grown and living on their own, the Quinn brothers must return to the family home on the Maryland shore, to honor their father's last request.

A champion boat racer, Cameron Quinn traveled the world spending his winnings on champagne and women. But when his dying father called him home to care for Seth, a troubled young boy not unlike Cameron once was, his life changed overnight...

After years of independence, Cameron had to learn to live with his brothers again, while he struggled with cooking, cleaning, and caring for a difficult boy. Old rivalries and new resentments flared between Cameron and his brothers, but they tried to put aside their differences for Seth's sake. In the end, a social worker would decide Seth's fate, and as tough as she was beautiful, she had the power to bring the Quinns together—or tear them apart... Review
Sibling trilogies are fast becoming Nora Roberts's forte. Sea Swept tells the tale of three brothers--all former juvenile delinquents adopted by Raymond Quinn and his wife, Stella. Cameron, Ethan, and Philip are as different as can be, but they are bound by their love and respect for their adoptive father, who has recently passed away. On his deathbed he asks his sons to look after their most recent brother, 10-year-old Seth, who--if the rumors are to believed--just may be Ray's biological son. Of course, the brothers don't know anything about caring for the young boy, and if social worker Anna Spinelli has anything to say about it, they won't. However, the sparks that fly over the fate of Seth are nothing compared to the romantic sparks that fly between Anna and Cameron. Nora Roberts once again proves why she is the premiere author of 1990s contemporary romance. Her stories have universal appeal, and Sea Swept is no exception.

Reviews: Marianne (Australia) (2012/01/27):
Sea Swept is the first of the Chesapeake Bay series by Nora Roberts. Cameron, Ethan and Phillip Quinn were all adopted by Ray and Stella Quinn as troubled teens. Now their widower father has died in a car accident that some suspect was suicide, leaving behind Seth, a difficult 10-year-old boy who looks remarkably like Ray, and whom he was in the process of adopting. His dying wish was that his three sons bring up Seth as their brother. Social worker Anna Spinelli is determined to realise the best outcome for Seth, but is strongly attracted to champion boat-racer Cam, extra prickly because of his suddenly curbed independence.
There is plenty of humour in the situation of three men trying to bring up well a young boy, the clashes between Anna and Cam and the interactions between the brothers, but Roberts also touches on child abuse, the importance of honesty, finding your place in life and a child’s need for security and love. Roberts gives us good-looking, likeable male characters with solid personalities and great dialogue between them, strong, intelligent female characters, some hot sex scenes and the mystery of Seth’s parentage. This instalment is the story of Cameron Quinn and the unsolved mystery will send readers looking for Rising Tides, the story of Ethan Quinn. I had in my head that Nora Roberts was all romance, but this was very un-Mills&Boon, and surprisingly good.
