Zanoni, A. (USA) (2009/12/10): Bah. I read it through. Unsurprising. Characters left me, I'm sorry to say, cold. I kept hoping the book would redeem itself; it did not. I hope others find it better than I did... possibly I've read too much and standard unvarnished "took these [basic story] elements out of box and then Just Wrote" is too little effort on writer's part, and therefore too little joy on mine as the reader.
