Book is very good, but nothing is as scary as the clown in this movie. People will be afraid of clowns for life (if theuy aren't already).

The clown in this story is pretty scary.I was scared of the clown in the book and then I saw the movie and now am really scared of clowns.It is a good story and really well written.He is a good author and I do not get bored reading books by this author.

I don't normaly read horror, but I figured I should taste a King novel because they're the best of the best, right?Well I hope not, because I found this book to be boring and completely UNscary! Humph!

If there's something that King does very well is create memorable adolescent characters. I finished reading this book more than a year ago, and I still remember details from the adolescent characters, their ticks and motivations. The horror, as is almost always the case with King, is mainly psychological --if you're looking for disfigured monsters and things like that, you won't find it here.
