LyndaInOregon (USA: OR) (2015/01/21): Not the best of Stewart's Arthurian cycle, but far better than the first two volumes. Written at a pace that occasionally rises from ponderous to majestic. This one tells of the main years of Arthur's kingship, from his accession to the throne to his acknowledgement of Mordred and the imprisonment of Morgause and Morgan.
