Liz (USA: CA) (2006/10/17): a wonderful book, well written, entertaining and depthful, a beautiful work of literature.
Anjie Carpenter (USA: NC) (2009/12/11): Wow, I was in tears at the end of this book. I mooched it because I was so enamored with "My Name is Asher Lev" by Potok. I had had to read it for a college requirement. If you are passionate about understanding the Jews or other cultures, this book is worthwhile. It talks allot of studying and intellectual things, so if that's not your gig, you may find it tedious. It's set in WWII and tells the perspective of American Jews throughout the crisis.
