I personally loved the book and the movie! Noah Calhoun and Allie Nelson were passionate lovers who shared an unforgettable summer together 14 years ago. But then Noah goes off to fight in World War II and when he comes back, Allie is nowhere in sight...until she unexpectedly shows up in his life again. This time, she is engaged to be married to another guy. Allie soon realizes that the feelings she once had for Noah were still there and now she would have to choose him or her fiancee. This is a wonderfully written love story about two lovers who were separated only to find each other once again. Nicholas Sparks is one of the best romance authors.
