Incredible book. Simmon's attention to detail was amazing and kept me riveted although the same detail bored and overwhelmed me in his previous that I have read. This is another coming of age story for a band of pre-teens. Other authors relay this tale in a more normal world, Simmons manages to tell the story of growing up while at the same time enters a demonic world frightening to any adult. This was a well told story worth many a sleepless night!
