Hope (United Kingdom) (2007/08/28): The set up of the Castle is a light hearted excuse to jump across multiple worlds and genres, pastiche just about anything, and generally send up story telling conventions. It is okay rainy day reading, but there are probably better pastiche fantasy books around now. I think it is fair to say that this is the kind of book that one really has to be in the mood to read, otherwise the style and humour is really going to fall very flat indeed.
