Kathy (USA: NC) (2007/09/17): Call me crazy, but I'm getting more and more to where I really don't like Emma Holly's books. I loved Beyond Innocense/Seduction and the Hunting series, but her other books are just too out there. Don't get me wrong, I love the racy sex, but I can do without all the male/male action. It's fine if it's a well-written, but small part of the plot, but in most of EH's books, it's in-your-face and more trashy than romantic. I feel like I need to go wash my hands after reading most of her books.
But I digress, Prince of Ice is okay, but I'm glad that I traded for it rather than spending my hard-earned cash on it. I'm not so sure I like her "demons." I tend to like characters who express their emotions rather than try to supress them. A character who can't be happy, get pissed, or have a screaming orgasm is just sadly lacking something.
