Hemlock Falls is a pretty little town in upstate New York. Sarah Quilliam, with her talent for business, runs the Inn at Hemlock Falls. Her sister, Meg, keeps the guests happy with her culinary abilities. But when it comes to murder, the Quilliam sisters have to rely on other skills...With upstate New York in the midst of a tourist slump, Sarah and Meg Quilliam are desperate to keep the Inn up and running. Unfortunately there is only one group of guests booked at the Inn, The Crafty Ladies. These five middle-aged, ecology-minded artists make jewellery and other crafts out of bottle caps and plastic forks. But their creative team begins to fall apart when one of the ladies dies in a fire at the Inn, and another soon follows. When the deaths are officially declared murder, Sarah and Meg find themselves juggling their bills with a search for the killer. After all, in these financially trying times, murder isn't good for business...
