A gang family in New York is being murdered one by one, and the police can’t quite figure out how it’s being done, let alone who is doing it. One of the police on the case, Jack, is considering that voodoo might involved somehow, despite his partner, Rebecca’s, refusal to consider that possibility.

It was good. For a while, I found it a little bit slow, but it really picked up during the last third of the book or so. I listened to part of it on audio, but read most of it. The audio was quite good; especially while walking alone in the dark at night… :-)
