MacDonald donated his private and professional correspondence, personal and business papers, manuscripts, typescripts, and library to the University of Florida Libraries and additionally provided an endowment for the purchase of MacDonald related materials. To further support the Libraries, he arranged to have a special issue of his novel Condominium with a specially printed endpaper autographed by MacDonald for the purpose of raising funds for the Libraries.
