Steve (USA: NY) (2009/11/03): This book started out great, and fell apart completely. The early information about building computers and other gadgets is great. Then Steve trails off and prattles on about his view on the war (Vietnam) and other crap.
If you're going to read it, skip the middle chapters. The beginning is worthwhile, and the end is exceptionally mediocre.
Thankfully, Steve is a lot better with computers than he is with writing.
