Very good forensic and psychological thriller. Mickie (USA: AL) (2008/09/11): This novel is ok. I was a little disapointed in the book. Since this is the first in a series, I will give allowances. I can state for a fact that Sue Grafton did improve--I thought she was good to being with; now I think she is GREAT. Hopefully, the other books in this series by Karin Slaughter are better. I am, however, tired of reading about wierd sex crimes and will not be mooching any books with that kind of plot in the near future. Barbara (USA: IL) (2009/12/27): While this is Karin Slaughter's first book, it was not the first book of hers that I have read. She is an excellent author. I couldn't put this book down, it was excellent. I am looking forward to reading more of her books.
