I love Sunset books, especially the cookbooks. (I own a different edition of this one.) Most seafood cookbooks neglect the Pacific in favor of Eastern Seaboard varieties, but Sunset, since it is published in California, gives recipes for West Coast species. This edition is fairly traditional and the recipes don't usually call for exotic ingredients. Preparation instructions are detailed and illustrated. Also shows you how to build a smoker.
