Description: Product Description
Jo Dubray doesn't think much of marriage, and she certainly doesn't plan to try it herself. But that doesn't mean she isn't interested in getting to know her new roommate's brother.... After all, Ryan's recently divorced and has two children living in another state. He can't be thinking of anything as serious and confining as remarrying. But what will she do if he is? Especially once his kids reenter the picture. UNDER ONE ROOF: Three women, two kids, one cat...and the three men who are about to change their lives. It's the family you choose that counts.
Reviews: gluestick (India) (2007/07/10):
Jo Dubray has a major phobia about marriage and children; she has made no plans concerning either. That doesn't mean that she can't have a little fun with her roommate Kathleen's brother Ryan.

Jo feels that Ryan is a safe relationship. He is recently and divorced and has two children that live in another state. She just knows that Ryan will not want to reconsider getting remarried so soon, but Ryan surprises her and does want to remarry someday and hopefully that special someone will be Jo.

TAKING A CHANCE was a wonderful family story; it not only touches on relationships with children, but relationships concerning adults. As I read I saw Jo grow as a person, she thought due some to misconceptions about her own childhood that she would not make a good wife or mother. In fact Jo was wonderful with Emma and Ginny the two children of her roommates Kathleen and Helen, as well as Ryan's children Melissa and Tyler. Over time she begins to see it as well and this opens up many doors in her relationship with Ryan. Ryan was a wonderful father and I did feel that it was unfair that he was limited visitations with his kids; he also helped Jo overcome her inadequacies showing her that having a family can be just as adventurous as taking a spontaneous vacation or skydiving.(Review from bestreviews.com)
