He preffered experienced women and Dot wasn't. The trip to Japan wasnt her main reason for accepting the job as little Pearls governess. Quite simply her warm heart had gone out to the motherless child. She hadn't known then that the cynical devastatingly handsome Calum Hescott hadnt wanted the governess in the first place. he saw Dot as nothing but an unwelcome intrusion. Until that is, he decided she needed the neccesary experience to complete her education.
