Not bad. But a little confusing since it was a long time since I read the Mayfair witches books (and I'm not sure if I actually finished them).

I love this story and the next book blood canticle is just as good. This blends the mayfair witches , taltos and the vampires seamlessly and wonderfully. This book has the feel of the 1st mayfair book and the next book has the rampant chaotic pace of taltos.
