Alison (USA: NC) (2008/02/25): Not a huge John Irving fan, but this book spans any taste preference. Amazing story, and if you don't cry at the end you have no soul. Its a book that leaves you with something as you finish up the last page, not just another tome for the shelf. I rarely keep books but if I hadn't already promised it to someone in Canada I would have kept it. It was that good.
I highly recommend it to everyone. You won't be sorry!
