I wasn't too interested in Arthurian legends before reading this book. A very enjoyable and good book overall. What makes this book different from other Arthurian legend books is that it is told from a feminine view. I found that the original "Le Morte D'Arthur" lacked in this department, although it is a wonderful classic (I read it after reading this book). The characters are interesting and portrayed well, which is one of the most important things in a book. This is on my permanent shelf. I loved it.
