I listened to this book on audio and fell in love with it. It is the story of a group of Australian women who marry British soldiers during WWII, and who are now prepared to follow these men to England for a post war life together. In particular, the book focuses on four very different women who are assigned to a cabin together on the warship Victoria, now configured to carry 1000 women to England.
