Hope (United Kingdom) (2008/01/02): Having not seen a copy of this book prior to requesting it, I was not quite sure what to expect. Having delved into it I did not find it particularly useful as I found I had covered quite a bit of the content in better presented, less simplified forms, whilst on courses for work. To expand on those, I really need to spend some time consulting bibliographies in similar books at the reference library. However if this is the first time you are running into things like dealing with change, team dynamics, influencing, problem solving, the role of stress (what level is helpful, how much is too much, and when to relax), conflict resolution and so on, then this book would be somewhere to start. The book is broken down into small sections, so it is fairly easy to find a specific part, if you want to focus on one particular thing. Everything has been simplified as far as it can be. This book has a rather small bibliography, so is not as helpful for further reading as it might be. In essence, it is basic, introductory book with quite a lot of very general, obvious psychology.
