Mixelle (USA: CA) (2010/12/09): This a terrible book for young women to read. It portrays a women who is manipulated by a monster, and literally gives up her life for him. Do not read, do not buy, do not support the author!
alnc (USA: NY) (2011/04/27): I read the first book when I was a bit younger and I loved it. I decided to finish the series by re-reading from the beginning and buying Breaking Dawn. Mistake. When you're a bit older, you realize how flawed the plot and writing is and how unrealistic (even for a vampire novel) the interactions between the characters are. Last book: horrible ending to an equally horrible series. Illogical and hormone-filled mess. Read to decide for yourself, I guess.
christina (USA: LA) (2011/12/24): I think that this series of books glorifies an abusive relationship. I was quite horrified at the way Edward treats Bella and she makes excuses for him. Not a good role model for young women.
Michelle (USA: AR) (2013/07/06): This was my least favorite of the Twilight series. It's aimed at teens and it should NOT be. If I had a kid, I would NOT want her reading this book. From an adult standpoint, it was a fast read but there were parts that even made me cringe. YUCK.
