the book has been compared to Pride and Prejudice and Wuthering Heights. personally, I hate Jane Austin and all her awful chick-flick books and I have yet to read Wuthering Heights. This book is definately not for me. that's why I'm getting rid of it.
On the other hand, I have to give the author credit for trying something uncommon in the narration--present tense journal entries. It's been done before, but certainly not overly. It's nice to see an author try something unordinary.
