I listened to the audio version of this book (got it free from my local library, which makes some audiobooks available for short-term download online... a wonderful resource!) and I really enjoyed the fact that Obama himself did the reading. He tells a number of interesting stories about his time in the government, especially after he was first elected. That was my favorite part of the book. I liked getting a sense of his personality that way; he cam across as very honest about the contrast between expectations and realities for a young senator, and what he learned over time. I'm not sure if I would've enjoyed *reading* this book quite as much as I enjoyed *listening* to it though... so I'd totally recommend for people to check their libraries for the audio version. It was a nice treat.
