Marianne (Australia) (2011/05/23): Dark Captor is Lindsay Armstrong’s 25th romance title. Stephanie married the powerful and attractive Dominic Rayburn to save her twin brother from prosecution. It was a marriage in name only. But there was a history between them that meant that on the few occasions when they did encounter each other, the results were passionate and explosive. Finally, Dominic offered her a chance to break free……but did she really want to? The initial premise of this story seemed a bit shaky, but the plot developed nicely and Armstrong manages to redeem the tale by the end, causing the odd lump in the throat on the way.
