Really interesting read if you want to know more about how our food is manufactured, especially how meat is managed. Highly recommend

The book does an excellent job of illustrating how messed up the industrial food system is, but its proposed solution feels very half-baked. Its convolution of science with industrial use of scientific findings is less than fair, and the author does a poor job of distinguishing actual science from pseudoscience. The book could use some fact checking as well; I found 8 inaccuracies on a semi-casual reading. It's still a solid read, but it doesn't deserve the unabashed praise it has received.
