Alysha DeShaƩ (USA: LA) (2010/08/02): I read this book at the urging of my grandmother. She assured me that I would love it and normally she's right about whether or not I would like a book. Not in this case. It was very difficult for me to get into the book. Honestly, I'm not sure why. For me, the characters were stiff and forgettable. I couldn't even tell you the main character's name without checking the book, first. The only thing that I really remember about the book was that the main character was a priest, although I wouldn't be able to tell you what religion he belongs to because they never once mention it. This book, though, is a romance novel. I was raised Catholic and our priests are not allowed to marry or have relationships. Maybe that's part of why I had such a difficult time getting into this book because it's all about a priest trying to find a girlfriend. Well, that's not all that it's about, but considering that it's a romance novel, it's a pretty crucial element to the storyline. My grandmother loved the book, though, so hopefully someone else out there will love this book and want to mooch it from me. :-)
