This is a book written for non-techies to help them understand computers. It's pretty good, as it relates computer concepts to everyday concepts like recipes (for example, the "sachertorte algorithm" is simply a recipe for making a sachertorte, but he explains it the way a computer would handle it). I'm technical so I didn't get much out of it, but the style is good and I think I'd find it enjoyable if I were new to computers.
