samharnold (United Kingdom) (2010/06/11): Lots of people have already read this and probably more have seen the film but this was new to me. Not that I have been living in a complete box for the last ten years I have seen the film with Tom Cruise but not ever read the book. In my quest to read all Grisham novels I picked this up and gave it a read.
This is a good read in typical Grisham style all about a lawyer although this moves away from the typical court room drama to a thriller about working for the mafia. The film is good and the book is even better a good read for anyone who likes Grisham's style of writing.
